Here at The Greenhouse Garden Center we are the grower! The majority of our plants are locally grown by us in Baldwin County, AL. We are your local source for all things Proven Winners! In addition to the plants we produce, we carry several other varieties of locally sourced plants. We also have a large selection of Houseplants, fertilizers, organic pesticides, and retail items such as pottery.
About Us
The Greenhouse Garden Center was opened September 16, 2023. Though this is a new business we have been in the horticultural industry for years! As third generation nursery owners we like to think we know a few things about plants! Our wholesale business was founded in 1998 beginning with one greenhouse and has grown to 10 acres of greenhouses and outdoor grow space and is still in operation today! This means we are growing all of the plants you see in our store right here in Baldwin County in the same climate they will be in when you take them to your home! This allows our customers to have better success when planting on their own. Being the grower of these products allows us to better educate the buyer on how a plant will perform for them and what they should expect going forward. We are truly passionate about the Horticulture industry and hope we can share our love and knowledge with you!
